National Park Art Prints
National Parks are areas set up by national governments for the preservation of the natural environment and equally important, are areas for the public to enjoy for recreation and exploration. In the United States and Canada, most national parks focus on protection of not only the land itself, but of the wildlife as well as well.
Historically speaking it is believed that the concept of government owned National Parks originated in 1870, with President Ulysses S. Grant signing legislation in 1872, which created Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
