Capricorn Records was born almost by accident. The label was founded by Phil Walden and Frank Fender, who at the time, were managers of Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge and Al Green. With this stable of amazing talent, they decided to start a label and were to specialize in R&B, with Otis Redding as their signature artist.
After buying a building and beginning to build the studio, Otis was killed in a plane crash leaving the planned label in limbo. Walden decided to build a "house-band" to help attract and record artists and he turned to a local guitarist who had appeared on Wilson Picket's version of "Hey Jude". They hired a guy named Duane Allman. You know the rest.
This beautiful ceramic mug is perfect for any event of the day. Your morning coffee, a hot chocolate, or any other hot beverage you enjoy. The mug is glossy white and the prints come out beautifully and vividly on it. The print retains its quality and luster when used in both microwaves and the dishwasher. - Ceramic 15oz mug- Dishwasher and microwave safe
