Please note that in order to offer the most authentic looking designs, concert ticket art prints often have a distressed, weather look due to normal aging and wear and tear on the actual ticket stub. Some ticket prints may show some blemishes that are part of the original source and are not due to a defect in the print process. Some restoration is done when possible but the source photos used come from the genuine artifact, most of which are decades old so uneven colors, faded print, and other blemishes may be visible.
This design comes from a show in 1970, sadly just a few months before Jimi's passing. This tour was scheduled after the Band of Gypsy's had split up and Jimi's manager wanted to reunite the original Jimi Hendrix Experience. Jimi however did was not interested in working with bassist Noel Redding any longer so he kept Gypsy's bassist Billy Cox, and original Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell, and formed the new Jimi Hendrix Experience. The band was also known as The Cry of Love which would later be the title to the first posthumous release of Jimi's music.
