I created series of Art Prints immortalizing great Record Stores from around the world. As a life long record collector that spent nearly 20 years working in Record Shops back in the 80's and 90's, I have a passion for these treasures of the past that are gone forever. I know times change, but I find it sad that most of today's music fans will never understand the amazing times when there were record shops on every corner. These posters were created as a reminder of those wonderful days.
Spillers Records is the oldest record shop in the world, having been open since 1894. The store opened selling phonographs, cylinders and phonograph discs and in business to this day.
As with all of prints and posters, this is an original design featuring my own illustrations, graphic design and art work.
