In 1999, Sir George Martin made a rare U.S. appearance at the Calvin Theater in Northampton Massachusetts, a show that I was quite fortunate to have attended.
The show was a multimedia presentation focused on the making of "Sgt Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band" and Sir George told the story in his own elequent words, along with showing film clips and playing audio recording featuring John, Paul, George and Ringo talking about Sgt. Pepper throughout various interviews.
It was a facinating and magnificent presentation and it was amazing to be sitting so close and listening to to one of the few people on Earth that was there when this masterpiece was made.
