Sam the Record Man was a Canadian record store chain that, at one time, was Canada's largest record store chain. The company was founded in 1937 and by 1982, Sam's had 140 store locations across Canada. This print features Sam's iconic flagship store which was located at 347 Yonge Street. Like so many other great record stores, Sam's cited the negative impact that technology had on record sales as the determining factor in their ultimately closing down the business.
