All of my art prints are created using digital scans of the original painting.
I spent a lot of time during the early days of the pandemic lock-down working on various art projects. I took online workshops with a brilliant artist called Ian Fennelly. Ian can teach a Master Class on watercolor sketching. The theme of one of the workshops that I attended was Route 66. All of the subjects that we were painting and sketching, were various locations found on the iconic American highway.
This painting is part of that series and features Historic Seligman Sundries located in Seligman, Arizona. Housed in one of Seligman’s oldest commercial structures – built in 1904 - the centerpiece of the Historic Seligman Sundries is a vintage soda fountain, and features a most eclectic decor as well.
