This Art Print was created from a scan of my original Watercolor Painting featuring one of my favorite subjects: Route 66.
Route 66 is filled with amazing Americana and a deep, rich history and there are so many cool and unique buildings and locations that you won't see anywhere else.
This painting features The Copper Cart in Seligman Arizona. The Copper Cart was originally a restaurant that opened in 1952 and was a staple on Route 66 for sixty years. After closing in 2012, the building was vacant until it was purchased in 2015 and turned into a Motoporium Gift Shop. Thankfully, the new owners knew what they had and kept the original sign out front. They're also known for the van that is parked next to the store which has eyes on the windshield and is covered with stickers from front to back. Gotta love Route 66.
