Record Town was an Albany NY based record chain made up of primarily mall-based stores. I always preferred the independent record stores over the big chain stores, but I have to say when I was a kid and my Mom dragged me to the Mall, I'd have her "drop me off" at the Record Town store and I'd stay there until she was done with her shopping.
