All Mad Apple Shop Tour Posters are my own original designs, recreating actual concert dates and tours. All dates and venues are accurate so you can be sure that the tour poster you hang on your wall is historically correct. Tour Posters are 11x17 inches and are printed on a very heavy 220GSM paper so they're much more sturdy and of higher quality than a traditional paper poster. Art Prints do not include frames.
When I was 20 years old, I was trying to get a job in radio and the first job I got was at a tiny little 5000 watt Country music station called WIXY 1600AM. This was in the early 80's.
At that time I knew nothing about Country music and all I knew was the pop-crossover stuff like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton which just didn't do anything for me. So I thought I hated Country Music but I new just enough from working in the records shops I'd been in that I was able to fake my way through the interview and got the job. Once there...a whole new world opened for me. I got exposed to Willie, Waylon, Johhny Cash, Hank Sr. and of course...Merle Haggard. I hadn't paid any attention to any of these artists up to that point but then I heard Merle's "Workin' Man Blues" and never looked back. Rest in Peace Merle. You were one of the greatest.
