All Mad Apple Shop Tour Posters are our own recreations of actual concert dates and tours. We also have reprints of actual tour posters as well. In all of our recreations, all dates and venues are accurate so you can be sure that the tour poster you hang on your wall is historically correct. Tour Posters are 11x17 inches and are printed on a very heavy 220GSM paper so they're much more sturdy and of higher quality than a traditional paper poster. Art Prints do not include frames.
This Art Print holds major historical significance as it features the final show played by the original line up of Lynyrd Skynyrd, just one day before the tragic plane crash that would claim the lives of band members Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines. Skynyrd's final show was played in Greensville South Carolina at the Greensville Memorial Auditorium on October 19, 1977. Street Survivors had been released just three days prior and the band was on tour promoting the new record. One of the greatest tragedies in rock history took place the next day, when their plane went down in Mississippi while on its way to Louisiana.
