This was the first show that I ever attended. I was 14 years old and my parents dropped me and my friends off at the Civic Center in Springfield Mass, for our first ever concert. I had never heard of Judas Priest before this night, they were not yet as big as they would eventually become, but they were the opening act that night and looking back, it was pretty cool seeing them before they really blew up.
Obviously KISS blew our teenage minds. The show was general admission and we got their so early we got seats pretty low down in the arena so we got a great view of everything. I'd go on to see KISS three or four more times over the coming years, but this was the only show I got to see with the original lineup.
