John Lennon Impressionist Style Painting Coffee Mug Black

The image used for this John Lennon mug comes from my own personal
original artwork. Anyone visiting my website knows that I am obsessed
with music (and the Beatles!) so the subjects of my paintings tend to be
of my favorite artists and musicians. I painted this piece several
years ago using only palette knives and using a pseudo-impressionist
style. I'm not claiming to be Monet...but these are original works that
you won't find anywhere else.
Full disclosure: The original design for this
painting comes from the amazing Colorado based artist Richard Wallich
who did this Lennon piece probably 20 years ago. I loved it so much
but could never afford to buy a Wallich original so I decided to create
a similar design using his original as a guide.
