John Lee Hooker is yet another of my musical heroes. The first time I remember seeing him was in the Blues Brothers movie, when he was performing in the street in front of The Soul Food Cafe on Maxwell Street in Chicago. What a performance. On my next trip to the record shop I went straight to the John Lee Hooker section. I bet a lot of people did the same thing.
