The most famous highway in American music lore (along with Route 66 of course) is Highway 61, which was long ago knicknamed "Blues Highway" for it's inclusion in so many Blues songs and it's location running alongside the Mississippi River. The first song recorded about Highway 61 was Roosevel Sykes's "Highway 61 Blues" in 1932. This simple design is a must for Blues fans.
