All of my Art Prints are created using digital scans of the original painting.
This art print features the third release in the General Mills Monster Cereal series, Boo Berry, released in 1973 as the first ever blueberry flavored cereal.
Nothing brings back childhood memories better than old cereal boxes. If you are from the Saturday Morning Cartoon generation, I know you're with me on this. On Saturday mornings, Mom & Dad would sleep late and it was the kids time to own the TV for a few hours and with that came your favorite breakfast cereal.
I will admit that I have an unhealthy obsession with vintage cereal boxes and with that out of the way, I will say that I think that the Monster Cereals from General Mills are among the greatest cereal boxes of all time. If there was a cereal box hall of fame (by the way...why isn't there a cereal box hall of fame?), these boxes would be in it. Cereal boxes now are created with computer generated graphics and they just don't compare the classics.
