One of the greatest tours of all time, the True Confessions Tour featuring Bob Dylan with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. You have to hand it to Bob Dylan, he always has the most amazing touring bands whether they're known or unknown, and touring with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers turned out to be an iconic tour for both artists.
I was at this show at the Civic Center in Hartford, and of the 15 Dylan shows I've seen, this was the best ever. This was long before you could buy your tickets online so my friends and I arrived at the Ticketmaster outside of a Sears store the night before they went on sale and there were already about ten people in front of us. We stayed out all night but we got amazing seats for the show...those were the days.
