The legendary Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton was the first to record Leiber and Stoller's Hound Dog, which of course later became and iconic record for Elvis. This was her first record released on Peacock Records in 1953. I understand that Elvis fans will think this is blasphemy, but I think Big Mama's version is better. This poster is completely original but it was created as a replica to a vintage record label promotional ad.
This poster was created to look aged and weathered to give a more authentic look. As with all of prints and posters, this is an original design featuring my own illustrations, graphic design and art work.
