This Watercolor Art Print features the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem New York, one of the greatest venues in music history. The source photo that I used to create this watercolor sketch was from June 1971 when Aretha Franklin was set to appear. I particularly loved the fact that, in spite of the fact that Aretha was not from New York, they still appropriately added "she's home" to the marquee.
