I created a series of Art Prints immortalizing great Record Stores from around the world. As a life long record collector that spent nearly 20 years working in Record Shops back in the 80's and 90's, I have a passion for these treasures of the past that are gone forever. I know times change, but I find it sad that most music fans will never understand the amazing time when there were record shops on every corner. These posters were created as a reminder of those wonderful days.
101 Music opened in North Beach in San Francisco in 1985, and unlike too many of the Record Shops featured in this series, 101 Music is still up and running. It's great to see a store from the 80's that still relevant today.
As with all of prints and posters, this is an original design featuring my own illustrations, graphic design and art work.
