"Get Smart" is one of the great shows of all time. and one of my personal favorites. The show was created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry and premiered in1965. The show starred Don Adams as Agent 86, a bumbling James Bond wannabee. The series was created as satire of the secret agent genre, particularly after the popularity of the early James Bond films. It's no accident that Agent 86 drove a Sunbeam Tiger as Sean Connery drove a Sunbeam Alpine in Dr. No, the first James Bond film.
