I saw Metallica at the Agora Ballroom in West Hartford Connecticut in 1985 just around the time that they were leaving Megaforce Records and signing with Electra.  Ride The Lightning had been released earlier that year and was just starting to gain steam nationally. To be truthful, the venue was way too small for Metallica, it was so loud it was almost painful but looking back it was truly amazing to see them at such an early point in their career. It was also great to have seen Cliff Burton too, as we all know that he sadly passed away a year later.
