TOUR POSTERS, t-shirts & the mad apple shop
At Mad Apple, we design original tour posters & t-shirts for old-school music fans.
Most of our tour posters are original designs but We also offer reprints of vintage tour posters as well, most of which are digitally restored copies of an original.
Our t-shirts feature vintage record labels, old-school record stores, and other 60's and 70's era music designs.
Our goal with our designs is to take you back to the golden age of vinyl records, music festivals, summer concert tours and simpler times.

ABOUT MAD APPLE
Since I was a teenager in the late seventies, music, concerts & art have been dominant forces in my life. In the early eighties I worked in a record shop and also worked for a local Rock radio station so I always knew early on when a concert was coming to our local area and also when tickets would go on sale. As a result, I was able to get tickets to pretty much any show I wanted, sometimes relying on connections I had made along the way. It was a great situation to be in and it resulted in my attending nearly 200 shows in my life. I am really fortunate that something told me even back then, to hang on to my ticket stubs for these shows, and I am so happy that I did. I saved the concert ticket stub from every show I attended.
One day while flipping through my ticket stub book, I got to thinking that as cool as it is to have all of these stubs, they're not very visual in terms of putting them on display, which got me thinking about the idea of creating my own Tour Posers for some of my favorite shows.
I'd been a part time artist for many years so I decided to put my amateur graphic-design skills to use. The first poster I created was for my very first show: KISS, Dynasty Tour 1979.
I realized then that a concert poster is more than just a piece of art on the wall. It is something that can truly take us back to the place and time when we saw one of our favorite bands or artists perform, and in the case of many of us, had our lives transformed as a result.
Since then I've created hundreds of posters and have sold them to music fans and collectors all over the world.
The majority of the Tour Posters I create are my own original designs, each is historically accurate to an actual show and tour. Others in my collection are reprints of vintage posters, mostly from the 60's and 70's which were digitally restored when possible.
